My name is Robert De Leon and for the past 12 years I've been fortunate to work with some of the most beloved brands in consumer products and services. I've pitched new biz, launched products, and directed campaigns from concept to production. I’m proficient in design, creative strategy and how to deliver on time and under budget.

Recently, I partnered with top influencers from around the world to celebrate Fortnite's return to Xbox Cloud Gaming and I capped off the year with the launch event for Waymo - Google's autonomous ride sharing service.

RECENT work

Walmart+ Delivery

Walmart+ is a new service from Walmart that delivers beyond your expectations. The service offers free same-day delivery for 160,000 grocery items, tech products, and household essentials and free shipping on all orders. An annual subscription fee is $98, which makes Walmart+ about $40 cheaper than the $139 yearly cost of Amazon Prime. This campaign features 4 families who are as diverse as the Walmart+ customers and, in many ways, represent America – American, Black, Latinx, white and multi-racial families, new and single parents, and multigenerational households. It captures a snapshot into their authentic, beautiful lives, with everyday moments like making tacos and coloring at the kitchen table. It shows how, despite our differences, Walmart+ enables us to do more of what matters most to all of us – spending time with loved ones.

To help AT&T launch a new TV service – AT&T TV – we enlisted a star-studded line-up to demonstrate the answer to modern home entertainment. AT&T TV uses the new Google Assistant-powered voice remote, users have the ability to find the things they love with a voice command. AT&T TV brings all the content you love into one easily searchable place, all controlled with your voice.

Google Waymo

To introduce Los Angeles to Google's ride sharing service Waymo we created a launch event rooted in LA culture. With the historic Waymo fleet on display, guests were treated to car inspired drinks, hors d'oeuvres by local eateries and live performances by LA artists and world-class DJs Tokimonsta and Jason Bentley. Beyond entertainment, the event provided city planners, industry executives and social influencers the chance reimagine how our commutes can be more productive, personal and creative.

OOTO

Outside of the office, I geek out on printmaking and collecting paper and  from around the world. My passion led me to start Brown Study, a Chicano inspired print shop offering limited edition, hand printed crafts that pay homage to the culture and the beauty of everyday life.

Launched a new YouTube series using comments from Xbox subscribers. Inspired by the meme-loving community we sparked authentic conversations about inside jokes and concepts that connected with gamers.

Partnered with influencers from around the world to celebrate Fortnite's return to Xbox Cloud Gaming with over 50 million views generated on TikTok and Instagram.
